Sometimes, it’s just an absurd selection because the idea is to pick only the players they think are the best.

You can call us idealists, but we wanted to propose an alternative team for the 2024/2025 Bundesliga season—it is indeed an actual team.
We have selected 11 players who we believe possess special attributes that make them deserving of consideration among the best in the league and who can complement each other.

Born in Haifa to an Arab-Israeli family originally from Sakhnin, Anan Khalaily was raised in a footballing environment.
His father, Majdi, a former goalkeeper and youth coach, played a central role in his development.
At the Neve Yosef Academy, under his father’s guidance, Khalaily burst onto the scene with 25 goals in 24 matches during the 2019/2020 season.
That level of form earned him a return to Maccabi Haifa, where he continued to excel.
He eventually scored 11 league goals in the 2022/2023 season and helped the club win the Israeli U19 championship.
