Real Madrid stumbled in dramatic fashion, with VAR and PK’s playing a major factor in their 4-1 loss to Valencia. Atletico Madrid thumped newcomers Cadiz to let them know what it's like to play with the big boys. Barca finally found their groove, winning 5-2 against Real Betis in a win that saw Messi come off the bench. Villarreal is on a hot streak, beating the bullies in Getafe 3-1. And Real Sociedad continue to run the table, beating a solid Granada side 2-0. This episode we recap these key La Liga fixtures (33:32). Goliaths Man City & Liverpool settled for a draw while Man United, Tottenham and Chelsea took care of business. Arsenal struggles against the plucky Aston Villa. Leeds stumbled in a peculiar game.

As if La Liga wasn’t busy enough, this week top flight Spanish teams faced the challenging schedule that comes with Champions League and Europa League fixtures.
